GALA DALÍ

theater

In a witty conversation with the audience, Gala Dalí revisits, out of chronological order, decisive moments of her life: her first marriage to the writer Paul Éluard, her encounter with Salvador Dalí, her struggle to assert herself in a male-dominated world and the constant judgment of society. Alone on stage, Mara Carvalho leads a narrative that weaves together memory, reflection and fragments of the life of the surrealist painter's wife and mentor, moving through passion, art, gastronomy, money, power, life and death.
